Q: When you teach yoga at the Aquatic Center, is it in the water?
A: No, we are in the event room! At least most of the time; occasionally in the summer we like to bring paddleboards to the wave pool and try yoga there! In the event room we have a clean open space, a great window view of the valley, with bolsters, blocks, straps, and blankets available.
Q: Do you need to sign up ahead of time for classes?
A: It is not usually required to pre-register but there are occasionally workshops that will fill. Payment is accepted in cash or check written to JGB Yoga; there is a paypal option online at jgbyoga.com as well. You can contact us by phone (208-791-5573) or email: info@jgbyoga.com if you have specific class questions.
Q: Where can I find the current schedule?
A: The current class schedule is available online at jgbyoga.com.
Q: Do you need a membership for the Aquatic Center to attend classes with JGB Yoga?
A: No-we have a wonderful partnership with the Aquatic Center! We rent the event room space and any yogi may sign up and attend our classes.
Q: Can a beginner attend JGB Yoga classes?
A: Almost always the answer is yes! We primarily teach gentle yoga and will offer additional variations and instructions to help beginners feel at ease in our classes. At times we have participants in gentle yoga that find a better fit with restorative or chair yoga. We are happy to share resources in the valley to find these classes.
Q: Will JGB Yoga teach a class to my group of friends, at my workplace, or for a special event?
A: Yes! We love to bring yoga to more groups and locations. Contact us at info@jgbyoga.com and we can discuss options.
